Marco Lohse
Marco Lohse is co-founder and co-CEO of Motama, a spin-off company
founded in 2005. Motama is specialized in designing and developing
distributed multimedia systems - spanning from embedded and mobile
systems, to PCs, to large-scale computing clusters.
Marco Lohse has been working in the area of distributed
multimedia systems since 2001, when he joined the Computer Graphics Lab at Saarland
University, Germany as researcher and PhD
student. Since then, he is chief software architect and
project manager for the Network-Integrated Multimedia Middleware
(NMM). As part of his research activities, he has published papers and
given talks on multimedia architectures, distributed systems, mobile
computing, and ubiquitous computing.
Marco Lohse received a Diploma/MSc in Computer Science from Saarland
University, Germany in 2001 and a Doctor/PhD in computer science from
Saarland University in 2005.
